I could go on forever regarding the experience I had at the Haven Resort in Cancun, Mexico. A sincere thanks to Sandra, our Travel Advisor, for pulling together the most amazing vacation ever!
This girl/sister/cousin trip had been in the making for over a year (best of friends since elementary school, we are in our late 50’s, early 60’s now). Thank The Heavens Above that we all agreed on The Haven Resort in Cancun, Mexico!
From the moment we were picked up at the airport in Cancun by AmStar Transportation Service (what a remarkable group of gentleman who kindly assisted us in locating our designated shuttle). They made sure our luggage was cared for, respected the fact that we personally did not want to part from our particular pieces of luggage only allowing them to load separately certain pieces. They went over and above to make certain we felt at ease. The shuttle bus driver was so kind, interacting with us along our trip. We laughed like we were all old friends (including our driver). I must add: he was such a wonderful driver, we felt so comfortable and safe with him behind the wheel.
Upon arrival at the Resort, the elaborate attention began with the excellent Valet Staff! The absolute sweetest and again Top-Notch group of gentlemen. They truly deserve a shoutout as well. They were always in the moment allowing us to experience the best girls trip ever. So professional yet very involved in our fun times! Carrying for our luggage but even more going over and above in transporting us back and forth to our rooms to the Lobby, Restaurants etc., anytime they could (they were just a phone call away to meet our needs) all and until we re-boarded our shuttle back to the airport 5 nights/6 days later. I never expected such attention to every single detail of our trip.
Check-In, the absolute sweetest staff! I am truly grateful to “Pepe” who was the best! One member of our girls trip had a last minute death in her immediate family and was unable to join us. Pepe spoke to his Supervisor who was able to update our room #2014 to include my credentials accordingly and with no problems checking in. Thank you Pepe!!!
The amenities were superior absolutely amazing! Gorgeous room with wonderful personal care items, luscious bathrobes and slippers, a luxurious shower room, the ultimate best housekeepers (I must shout-out and praise the loveliest women “Ofelia”and “Mady” who were so very kind and caring during my stay). Room Service was Top-notch! They were such a beautiful team treated us like royalty. The menu was a perfect variety and delicious!
An absolute lovely swim-out pool with a little walking path to huge circular pool with everything you need or want to feel like royalty. My heart goes out to our fabulous Pool Concierge “Degner” and a couple of his colleagues “Ivan” and “Rogelio” among several others who took such great care of us while we spent days at the pool. Degner would even take the extra time to cover the top and sides of a rattan daybed with towels and a patio umbrella to protect my sensitive skin from the sun! Thank you dearly Degner; for your kindness and elaborate attention to every single detail!
The selection of restaurants and their staff were of the absolute highest standard (beautiful settings, delicious food), excellent service like no other that I have experienced.
I could go on and on but truly The Haven Resort got it absolutely perfect when saying “An Unforgettable Relaxing Experience.”
